Ok so I'm a canadian citizen. My husband is american. Im 41 weeks pregnant as of right now and will have our baby before we send in our info. The baby will have canadian citizenship based on birth. My husband had his physical done and it came back with his liver enzymes being out of range. We had looked into this in the states before and he turned out healthy. He has to go back for more blood work. Can he be denied all of this immigration because of this? We just moved back to canada so i gave up my immgration in the states and cant go back for some time. Im just scared he will be denied and our family seperated.
Family spousal has an exemption from excessive medical demand, refusal is only on things that would put the population at risk.
Excessive demand exemption - Family Class sponsored spouses, common-law partners, conjugal partners and their dependent children, and convention refugees and persons in need of protection and their dependents, will not be refused entry if they have a health condition that places excessive demand on health or social services.
In my opinion denial is not likely at all.
