It has just come to my attention that on the back of ONE of my spouse's immigration photos, we were to include his name, dob and the date, however what we sent just had the date on the back.

I dont know how we missed this small detail...through all my reading and planning and double checking I somehow missed where it said what was required on the back of the photos (luckily the photographer date stamped it)

How do you guys see immigration proceeding with this? Sending the whole application back to us? Requesting an entire new set of photos? Proceeding anyways, since this is just a "small" *fingers crossed* detail?

I am sick to my stomach with worry now... I have been so excited since we sent our application off and was certain our application was perfect!....I cant believe we missed it...I hate to think of how much this one little error could slow down our application... :(

I have heard of an application being returned because the photos of the children didn't have their names on the back. But if you're only sponsoring your spouse, they usually accept them. It's not like they can say they don't know whose photos they are.
I missed that too, there was nothing written on the back of my photos and it went through just fine :)

When I read the concern about information not added to the back of the photos, I re-checked the instructions for my wife. It says she is to state hr name, the date the photo was taken, and her date of birth.  This we did -- on every photo.

But now I realize that CIC wants this information on one "and only one" photo. We have time; is it worth getting new photos?
Is CIC really looking for such small excuses to reject an application?

Thanks everyone for your input! I feel alot better now, knowing I am not the only person who forgot it, and that they still went ahead ok with the application.

Didn't write the name at the back either! Can't even remember reading that in the guide! Well too late now...
