How did you get the bank certificate? I mean does any bank have this service? Is it a letter that states how much you have?
Did you convert the money to CAD? All I have is USD,do I need to exchange to CAD as proof of fund?
I am just worried too much now~

Most banks know when you ask them that you need a proof of funds certificate for immigration, they are used to sending it for US immigration, so you should clarify to them that you need for Canadian immigration. Better still ask them to address it to nobody, otherwise you will see subject such as "To the Department of Immigration, United States..." The certificate states the amount you have on the date they issued the statement, it does not contain any details and merely states your account number and amount held. For the second question, a lot of people on this forum have different opinions, I went with my lawyers and paid them extra ( a credit card fee) to procure the draft in CAD from a local canadian bank. The CIC has a page on what amount to pay in USD ( http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/new_york/imm/fees_frais_usd.aspx) if you can only pay in USD. Do not panic, you should be able to do this  Cheers. |

When you see DMP, did you provide our file number to her? I do not remember I did so and wondering if it will be a problem.
Also, do you give them the section A form. I cannot find mine but do not remember they keep it.
Will they ship them together?

The CIC must have given you the IMM form with your photo on it, it has your file number and all other details. The DMP keeps this and sends it as part of your documentation, you do not get anything in return from the DMP but only a receipt of tests performed. |

Keep me posted on your progress,please.
You should ask for a tracking number from the DMP this way you can track actual progress than assuming. Nothing has happened since the results were received, even the CIC website has not changed from "in process" since my file was transferred to NY. |

Yes, I did ask for tracking number, it will deliever on Dec, 31.So it is really not bad.
Do you know if OTTAWA, ON is going to send the results to NEW YORK consulate for processing? How long does it take then?

I did not have this one and my application was sent to Buffalo at the beginning. So I do not know what is going on now.

As far as I know this step happens initially where they decide if they want to accept your application or not and they compare it with the NOC code requirements. I believe we are past those steps, I do not want to go back to those steps |

I am planning to go to the same doctor that you went to for cic medicals. could you please let me know if there are any specification for the medical photos? when I called them today they mentioned that passport size photos from CVS are fine. but could you please let me know?
