I am married to a Colombian woman, i dated her for 2 years in Colombia, I married her in October 2011. and we want to live in canada. We filled in the proper immigration papers but are having trouble with her son's father giving her permission
to bring her son here. My question is, can she apply first so she can come here for a month or so and then apply for her son after the lawyers are done with getting permission from his father??

yes u can sponsor ur wife initially but please ensure her son gets medically examined and then u can include him as non accompanying and u have until he is 22 to sponsor him once he is examined if he is not examined u stand the chance of not being able to ever sponsor him
