hi,

I wanted to know that is it possible to get canadian nationality after you go there to study for your post graduation? I have recently completed my undergrads and am looking into options for postgraduation studies. I am also interested in moving to Canada. Also, In this case, if it is possible, how does the timeline usually work. I heard that after 1yr of postgraduation the canadian governent gives you a workpermit for 3years, which you can convert to a PR status after 4months of recieving it. True?

Thank you in advance for any help that i get

regards,
skip.

i dont think its after 4 months. if you studied for 2 years and then get one year of work experience, you can apply for PR under CEC immigration program.

I am not an expert at Canadian Immigration.
Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon
