I live in Pennsylvania now I while living here I visited Canada for a brief peroid of time. I would love to move to the area and take up residency but the problem in that my Fiance had gotton a DUI a few years back and they said that you can't have one on your record. He has gone to all the classes and done his suspension and has learned from his mistake. Could I apply for residency then marry him and bring him in or a fiance application work or is it hopeless. I have never been in any troulble not even a parking ticket and I am not trying to do anything illegal I just want to be with the man I love and does anyone think I would have trouble getting in?

Your fiance won't be able to go to Canada until he is considered rehabilitated.  Depending on the offense and his actions since that time, it could take a few years or it might never happen.

Your fiance has the option of filling out the form and taking it to the Canadian consulate/embassy to get an opinion on what would be required to be considered rehabilitated.  I think it's a free service.

Your fiance should do this before you start thinking about immigrating, of course.

My fiance was never jailed or anything and he is not on parole. It has been only 2 years since he was sentenced to in house arrest. Is that still a peoblem? I thought it would be fine after 2 years?

Yup, he is not eligible for rehabilitation until 5 years after the completion of his sentence.
