immigrate to canada

Hi guys, im ivan from italy and i'm thinking to immigrate to canada, british columbia would be my favorite place because i have friends there, i already fill the immigration assestment form but the response is that im not eligible because i dont have one job offert, my question is, can i come there as turist and start to look for job? or i need a job offer before i enter in canada?

As an italian citizen you do not need a visa to visit Canada.

You should read the notes about visiting (see below), you should be prepared to be able to prove that you will leave Canada at the end of your visit.
You can look for a job while visiting, but you cannot work.
Be warned getting a job is not always a fast process. Some employers will not interview people who are not available for work.
