Immigrate from Greece

Hello everybody,

My name is Kate (I am 28), me and my husband are Greek. We want to immigrate to Canada because the situation here is terrible. I am obtaining my bachelor degree at June 2012, I have a michigan proficiency in English, basico in Spanish and in computers I have a license ECDL. My husband (34) has an MBA, michigan and Cambridge proficiency in English, ECDL in computers and 6 years experience in office assistance.
I have searched in many sites about immigration but i feel so confused.
I did the point system evaluation for my husband  and he gets 83 points and me 74 points (with the bachelor)

Also I have a grandmother who has a canadian citizenship, but she lives in Greece and she goes to Canada only for her riterement pay.

I would Like to ask a few things:

1. Based on our qualifications are we eligible?
If one of us isn't and the other is, can the other follow
2. We have a friend with canadian citizenship who is willing to sponsor us and accomodate us, is this going to help anywhere?
3. I saw somewhere that we have to have about 10.000CAD as a proof in a bank account
4. My working experience is complicated...I worked for 11 months in a company (with insurance) but I aslo worked for 2 years elsewhere but without insurance, if I get a recommedation from that second employer is it llegal?

1. To apply under the skilled worker program, you do have enough points but unless your occupations fall under the list of 29 most wanted and there are still free spaces in that occupation, you will need a job offer.

If one of you qualifies to apply, that person can apply for you both.

2. The friend can not help unless they can help you get a job offer.

3. Without a job offer, it is $13,837 you have to show for funds, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

4. If you get an experience letter from that employer, they will count it.  Immigration does not really care if you work under the table as long as you weren't doing it in Canada.
