immigrant summary forms / supplementary information forms

Dear All,
A Quick question from all forum members, please share how many of us received request to fill up IMMIGRANT SUMMARY FORMS along with medical request from chc-london. I am asking as i have recently realized that may be not all of us have been asked to fill up the form. BTW i was asked to fill up for myself and spouse only immigrant summary form and not the SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION FORM.
Do these forms have some effect on background checks and consequent time involved for PPR request?
