IMM0008 Generic Question - Family Details

I'm a Canadian citizen residing in the US and am preparing to sponsor my wife so we can settle in Canada.

On IMM 0008 Generic page 2, it asks for details on family members.

The text says:

You must include your spouse or common-law partner, if applicable, and all of your dependent children, and those of your spouse or common-law partner, who are not already permanent residents or citizens of Canada.

I read this as meaning that we need to include my details and photos even though I am a Canadian citizen since I am a spouse. From what I can tell, the last part saying "who are not already permanent residents or citizens of Canada" only refers to children.

Can someone clarify this?

no, its just the person seeking PR, not the Canadian citizen to fill out
