Hi
Dear Forum,
I saw alot of activity with top quality answers on this forum so my hopes are high :-)
And I think I can relate to thaihubbie here!
So, I'm a canadian citizen, lived 3 years in Australia, married with a Thai wife there and now live with her back in Bangkok in Thailand. I am planning to stay with her until she gets her PRV. We want to settle back in Montreal where I grew up.
I am filling the CIC forms to send to Mississauga center in Ontario and saw in the Form IMM5491 Checklist items 17 to 20 (request for Option C printout, letter of employement...) that they do not apply to resident of Quebec.
Technically, I don't think I am a resident of Quebec since I am living overseas now. However, as I am planning to move back to the province of Quebec, I understand I do not need to fill items 17 to 20 of form IMM5491E?
Any comments / confirmation would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Jean
As you are heading to Quebec, you don't need 17-20 but look at
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/sponsors-sponsored/index.html what you will need for Quebec.
