Hey all!

I completed my 2 year degree in Canada and got accepted for another degree. I need to apply for a student visa ASAP since mine is expiring in a month. I'm going to Buffalo for a new visa.

The question number 13 is:

During the past five years have you or any of your family member accompanying you lived any other country of citizenship or permanent residence for more than six months?

I completed a one year program in the States but I went home for a month. AS I mentioned I also completed a 2 year program in Canada, I went home for a month or two.

My question is; in the length of stay section there are two boxes to indicate the dates (from-to),  I did not stay for the whole time in Canada or the US. What do I write there? Shall I write down the consecutive periods only?

Thanks a lot in advance!

My understanding from CIC is that this question does not apply to you because you are not a citizen or permanent resident of either the US or Canada so the answer to question 12 would be No.
