IMM 1249 questions

Hi.
  I have two questions on IMM 1249 - application to extend my stay

   -   what is my client id?
   -   I am being sponsored for PR by my common law spouse. She is a canadian citizen. I believe I don't list  her as a family member since the family members are presumed to be people who need extennsions, etc... Probably dont need statuatory declarationn of common law either.  I could go either way on this but don't want to confuse anything.

   Having trouble reaching CIC on this today.

OK, I know what the client ID is now and I don't have one yet(application submitted late August so should get one soon)

But I am still confused about whether to include my sponsor(she is Canadian citizen) as a family member on IMM 1249. Extension of visitor status doesn't seem to apply to her.
