IMM 1249 D-MY Request! Renew Student visa? while my family class application is

I need some helps. My common-law partner has a Student Permit till Jan 31, 2009. She has to extend it now. I know it is a bit later, she just came back to Canada again, and her new Stamp without handwritten date, so she can stay in Canada for another 6 months.

On IMM1249E form, D-My Request Q10. “For the following reasons: I will write

“I have applied for permanent residence in Canada — Spouse or common-law partner Class,  I am still holding a Student Permit and attending XXXXX Language School for ESL programs to improve my English skill. I am sending this application to extend my Student permit maintaining legal status in Canada, and to allow me attending a Language school continuously.”

Can anyone help me? Please give me some ideas.
