Hi guys, quick question, but an important one to make sure I've understood...

We're married, I'm British, she's Canadian and sponsoring me and we both live in the UK at present, with no children.  Under "Details of Family Members" can I clarify that I do NOT include my wife, on the basis that she's a Canadian citizen?  I think that's what the Guide tells me but I'd like to make double-sure.

I assume that she needs neither photos nor a police certificate from the UK?  It seems odd to me that nowhere does it seem to ask for a photo of the sponsor.

Thanks for any help you can give,

Chris

Yes, do not include your wife in "Details of Family Members" nor she need photo and police certificate from UK.

The pkg says to include family members who are not already citizens or permanant residents.

They do not need your wife's pic..they just need to make sure she is eligible to sponsor. If she is moving from the UK she needs to show enough evidance that she is re-establishing her self back in Canada.

Not in this form you do not have to mention your wife who is already a Canadian citizen. In the Additional family information form you do have to mention your canadian wife.

Thanks guys, that's what I thought.  I managed to convince myself briefly that she needed police certs and 8 photos etc., but of course she does not!

Cheers.
