hi all

my broblem that i send full document to london office in august including IELTS
ineed in ielts 5 points to reach 67 points so i got as following/
4.5 w
4.5 r
4.5 l
5.5 s

and my lawyer said its 5 points in ielts and total you will get 67 and becouse of this i send my ielts.
since august no reply from london and the status recived by visa office. after that i come to know from members that officer will give you only 4points, so becouse that i,m afraid to refuse my case.

so suggest me what to do? my case status again / recived by visa office
can i do any thing or just wait or can enroll to re apply for ielts but maybe any time status change to in process.

Brother,

As per the outcomes from this great forum where different people have different opinions. Remember they are giving only their opnions.

As per the grades you provided, you should have appeared for second attempt as I read on this forum you must have atleast 6.50 in two section as it leaves good impression on VO.

But that is my little knowledge. On the other hand your consultant agreed with this so now you just wait and see.

All the best!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Zakout,

I would just say that if you really want to do something other than waiting then resit IELTS and get good marks as your current marks are very low and irrespective to your total points visa officer can reject your case on the basis of english skills if he is not satisfy with your english skills and we have seen one applicant "Drooza" scoring more than the required points but still got 3 chances from visa officer to prove his language ability. So i would strongly suggest you to improve your result and send it to visa office before they come to you asking for new ielts.

Cheers

Who said that you cant send anything if your status changes to "in-process" ? It is clearly written in op6 that you can claim points for anything before the decision is made for e.g if one applicant is doing masters when he/she submitted the full docs and after 4 months he/she finished his/her degree then he/she can still get points for masters if decision is not made yet. Its visa officer discretion wheather he/she gives you a chance or make decision with the given information. So dont take this for guarantee that visa officer will give you a chance do as much as you can before a decision is made.

Yes there is still a chance why you are just waiting you know how London visa office is going they are very slow, so if you have a chance now why not take it rather than leave it by thinking that time is over, just do your best give it a shot and InshALLAH you will get a good score and be able to send it before your file gets in process. Better to try now than regretting it later.

IELTS is always same at all the institutions it depends on your english language skills how much you have improved but still try IDP i heard its better than British Council.
