Back in the 90s i entered the US legally but overstayed ( 12 years ) and started working as did my now husband, he worked under his friends name and SS#, we have no criminal record and left the US with no problems we even went back a few years ago for a vacation and again had no problems with the INS. My question is ,when it comes to Police checks etc will this be done under my husbands 'alias' i see there is an 'alias' box on the application. And most of all, will all this affect our PNP application for BC, I've read that your legal status in other countries won't affect your appliction, but is this just wishful thinking or fact??
thanks so much for any advice in advance

Best is to consult a lawyer for your case.
