Welcome to Our Website!

Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services improves health outcomes for the most vulnerable immigrants, refugees, and their communities. We do this by facilitating access to services and addressing systemic inequities.

We provide a wide range of programs and services for immigrants and refugees living in Toronto.  Working through partnerships, we help develop innovative responses to newcomer issues.
Our network of trained interpreters provides quality interpretation in more than 50 languages.
We also engage in community-based research and advocacy on issues related to the determinants of health and well-being of newcomers and racialized groups in Toronto.

We envision a future in which Toronto's diverse communities can achieve health with dignity.

How do I choose a family doctor?
When you choose a family doctor, you might think about:

Is the doctor accepting new patients?
Can you make appointments at a convenient time?
Do you prefer a male or female doctor?
Do you prefer a doctor who speaks your language?
Does the doctor answer your questions clearly?
Does the doctor explain your options for treatment?
Is there a medical lab where basic tests can be done?
Which hospital does the doctor send patients to?

There is a shortage of family doctors in many areas in Ontario. You may not have many choices
