If thosands of application recevied under 1122

Hello all,
If thosands of application recevied under 1122,
how they will pick the application,
i hearead 1st come 1st serve ,
is that why they accepting this much of application ,
my story is ...
My application reached in canada on 04-08-2011,that time Cap is reached to 336,
in my assumption i given all the documents in a correct format...
Please any 1 help me ,
what was the possibilty getting my Visa or accepting my application,
when we know my application is accepted or not

Hello Girish,
 You can be sure that your application is accepted only after issuance of PER (Positive Evaluation Response) by CIC and receipt of the same by you. This might take a while after your application reaches CIC and u need to be patient for the same. Pl. note that since 1122 quota is filling up v. fast (in fact it is the fastest of the 29 NOCs), it's really a bit of luck and timing whether your app. get accepted by CIC.

Hi,
 Usually if your app. has been received, it means that 500 apps for 1122 at CIC has not been reached till that time and u will either get PER if every doc. is alright otherwise u will get NER later ( either after 2-3 months by email). However, it is slightly possible that many apps. reach on that date near-about the same time as your app. and the quota  gets exceeded on that day itself. In that case, I am not sure what CIC will do but the chances of this happening are q. remote and u need to watch the CAP limit of 1122 on CIC website for a few more days to be sure this has not happened.
Also pl. check after few days with ur bank whether ur draft is encashed or ur CC is charged (if paid by CC). Then u can be sure that they have provisionally accepted ur app. and will issue PER if everything is alright.

How do i receive PER (Positive Evaluation Response) from CIC? is it through mail or post

And i had given Demand draft, how do i track that it has been processed?

Hello Girish,
 As I mentioned before, PER is usually through email if u have given ur email address.
For DD, u have to phone or visit ur bank which issued the DD in CAD after some time ( min. 10-15 days) to know whether it has been en-cashed.
