Dear readers:
According to one of CIC document, Language proficiency test result must not be more than one year old at the time that you submit your application. My IELTS test date was April 12, 2008 and its TRF (Test Report Form) date was April 25, 2008.  Right now, I am in the process of filling out my application forms.  Will score be acceptable if I lodge my application after April 12, 2009 but before April 25, 2009? Please advise.

Nope it is the date of the test, so you have to submit before 12/04/09.  Though you may get lucky and CHC shows pity.
