it talks about lock in date. You should have done your IELTS at most one year prior to the lock in date.

Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon

OK,  once again, I'll do you and the others the favor of quoting it.
I am assuming that you did not read the OP6e.PDF.

Sections 10.4 to 10.10—Language:

         •  relevant sections have been updated to reflect RIM messages 04-002 and 04-016 sent to visa
              offices earlier this year regarding clarifications on "Language Proficiency Guidelines."

         Section 10.6—Approved testing organizations:

         •  test results must not be older than one year on the date of application;

         •  test results from a testing organization that has not been designated by the Department are
              not "conclusive evidence" of language ability and may only be considered as part of an overall
             written submission.

Taken from OP6e.pdf Page6

So i came a conclusion that as my ielts was valid at the time of app to CIO ,it will not require to retake when i send full docs,,,,,although 1 yr validity already expired.
