so what haapend next with yr friend???as my relative in canada called cio and same thing told by call centre agent.but now i want to use credit card method for fee payment.plzz let me know yr friend,s situation???may be it help me in some way....
Please understand that once an application is sent to CIO, it automatically is in the queue for Initial assessment. The application payment is somewhat of an indication that the application is being assessed.....now in your case since the DD was wrongly addressed, it cannot be encashed and your application will automatically go the the "RETURN TO APPLICANT" folder.
Now, even if you tried to send payment through CC, CIC will not be able to access it as there is no system in place at CIC to perform such actions.
Not to forget that - NO file number has been generated for your file so it will be a mammoth task for CIC to find your application to correct your mistake and accept your CC payment.
Please put in your efforts to prepare another set.....before your NOC reaches the CAP. I understand that you are highly stressed ....I dont know any other way to help you.
