Hi all,

Sorry if this questions does not fit well here, but it seems I can expect to get some answers here, as most of us have to take IELTS at some point during the process:

So, can you please share good resources (books, CD, websites) for preparation and practice tests for IELTS Exam? What book/practice tests do you recommend? I only look for preparation tests and do not much know which is better?

Thanks for your reply in advance. :-)

Please visit www.avaxhome.ws and then go to  ebook-elearning-languages
You will find lot of books in pdf format and audio material on this site. Even registration on the site is not necessary.
The other resource is British counsel website.

Congratulations for getting band 8. Well done
I have been using the same book and cd for IELTS academic in 2006.
Now I have to appear for general IELTS, I have the book but misplaced the CD.
Can you send the CD (using compression tool) to my email
Or Just let me know the link from where I can download the CD for series 6.
Thanks

The following message was sent to me by honeyborn. I am just doing copy/paste for the benefit of all.

  @  ha2922

I have never purchased a single book from market rather downloaded Cambridge books along with CDs from this link,
http://english--org.blogspot.com/2008/10/cambridge-ielts-books-and-cds.html

I hope this helps

Hi,

I appeared for IELTS this weekend. And according to me if you refer the IELTS Book received for preparation then u dont require any other book.

Only refer CDs and Book received from B. Council, which includes everything.
