I have a band of 5.5 in written and reading  , will I be able for any colleges in toronto for advanced diploma program??? Please can anyone suggest me anything... |

Without band-6, you will be not able to admit in any suitable colloge/university. However, If u can manage any invitation from any college, ultimately visa office will not allow you a visa saying that your IELTs is not in satisfactory level. However r u from North south university, bangladesh?? |

ok , i have another question.Is that possible if I go for DIPLOMA if V.O tells me that you are overqualified I will say them that as I am changing my line from ETE to BUSINESS So I am thinking of why not taking a diploma in CANADA ?! I really want my base to be strong enough for business as I am shifting. And I have one more question, Is that possible after completing diploma I can get into MS/MBA If i do excellent? |

Hi, It' not tough to get the admission offer from the college but getting the VISA from the embassy might turn out to be impossible if they see - you're going for a lower level of education and/or study mismatch. There have been quite a few occasion when the VISA of a few applicants on this forum have been rejected by the authorities in the past !! |

I am sorry , actually my overall score is 6.5 ... where listening and speaking has 7.5 and reading and writing has 5.5 ... sry to mention the lowest only ... I have seen the advanced diploma program requirements they all are asking for 6 at least at each skill .... but even if i sit for another ielts thing is gonna be the same ... anyway so what I can do right at this moment ? |

Over all 6.5 is OK but individually below six is not OK.........So why take a chance.......

This score is enough for doing diploma but not enough for graduation. As your interest is in Diploma-- it's OK. I was thinking, being a NsU student how one can get band 5.5 score only. Very simple, don't mention about your graduation else they may cofused. Normaly, they compromise some study gap. To do MBA your graduation from bangladesh will work as well as your diploma(depanding duration) will also do. |

thank u for all replies.but i have seen some colleges outside toronto which has low requirements .... Is there any overqualified issue if a graduate student apply for diploma cz in diploma each skill needs 5.5 which I have I m from ETE want to do BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AS A DIPLOMA COURSE |
