I think you should be ok... but remember what is important is that the IELTS gives you the enough points to get over 67 points in total with the others facts

According to CIC:

If you have qualifying Canadian work experience at Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A of NOC, your test results must match the CLB/NCLC below (see chart):

    * 7 or higher for each of the language abilities, or
    * 6 for any one of the language abilities, 7 or higher for any other two of those abilities and 8 or higher for the remaining ability,

Also, the 67 points mark is for Skilled Worker, I don't think theres a points system for CEC

Johnny,

Thanks for the clarification. I do qualify for CEC and my skill type is A on NOC.
If I'm not mistaken my scores are
                    IELTS         CLB
Listening           7              7 / higher
Reading            7             8 / higher
Writing             5.5           6
Speaking          7              8 / higher

Is that right?

So for your band scores You qualify for NOC 0/A according to following

6 for any one of the language abilities (writing = 6), 7 or higher for any other two of those abilities and 8 or higher for the remaining ability (you have one at CLB 7 and other 2 at CLB -8)

Johnny,

Thanks for the clarification. I do qualify for CEC and my skill type is A on NOC.
If I'm not mistaken my scores are
                    IELTS         CLB

Reading            7             8 / higher
Writing             5.5           6
