each of skills:listening,writing,speaking and reading have 4 points for maximum band score.and you must got these point for getting max:
reading 6.5 or above
writing 6.5 or above
speaking 6.5 or above
listening 7.5 or above

i studied from cambridge esol book series for writing i would write essays & application & compare it with model answers given on the back for listening watching bbc news will do for reading go thru english newspapers & magazines kindly ur mail id i will send some materials given to me by one of the friend in this forum
