Hi guys,

i have done my IELTS with a 6.0 score in it in jul 2007 and moved to england for the last 3 years after that, can I still use my IELTS for my application (for Federal Skilled worker), How about if I add an extra letter from the university saying that I have studied my degree in English...would this help me?

Please urgent and fair answers needed for it.
thanks.

As per CHC rules, IELTS result is valid for 2 years.
You have no other option then to go for new TEST.

Cheers..

each section has minimum band requirement to get all 16 points.

listening 7.5    4 points
reading   6.5   4 points
writing    6.5   4 points
speaking  6.5   4 points

minimum overall. 7

Pittabread has given you the min scores to reach 4 points for each proficiency.  Make the CIC APPLICATION GUIDE your friend.  Read it.  Learn it.  Use it.  You have to follow it to the letter when you fill out your application.  You'll find a whole section on IELTS scores.  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG72.asp
Good Luck.

VO - Visa Office.

If you are new applicant and planing to apply - then you need to submit your docs to CIO -  Centralized intake office

later your application will be sent to VO (Visa Office), specific to your region (country where you have lived for last 1 year).
(Don't worry about this at the moment, you would learn every thing)

Good Luck.

The address you mentioned is for CHC London, UK.

You need to mail your documents initially to CIO in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada.
You can courier them to

Centralized Intake Office
P.O. BOX 7500
Sydney, NS  B1P 0A9
Canada

or

Federal Skilled Worker
Centralized Intake Office
196 George Street
Sydney, NS  B1P 1J3
Canada
