Guys,  I am planning to take IELTS.  All my education from schooling to university have been in English medium (in India) and I am working for 5+ years in US.  With this background,   how much preparation do you think I need ?  The sample questions on IELTS site are real simple.    I do not need a very high score ... need moderate proficiency.

You should feel yourself comfortable - but that is to start with!
You should simulate a few tests atleast - for listening and reading, so as to give you the feel - this is important.
Otherwise your experience would take you further to your destination - don worry!

All the best.

cheers boltz.

I feel that you will get a score of more than 7 in IELTS with the qualification given by you.

Any way check your essay writing....You can post your essays at www.yourieltsonline.com ,where ielts experts evaluate your essays with comments and band..
