 @ RH Khan

Dear,

I would be fully happy to share all the resources I used to prepare for IELTS.

The first thing we have to do is to give good amount of time in watching tv shows especially talk shows in premiere English channels. Then try to watch few serials of different genres like comedy, crime, action, drama and try to relate with the characters and their accent particularly speaking style.Later try to listen to English songs and try to predict the lyrics of that.May be the first stanza of that.Lets then proceed further to listen songs by downloading the lyrics and simultaneously hearing to the song and singing or just read as our intentions is to get used with the language and speaking style.

Find chat friends around the world who speak English and daily do voice chats.Talk about different things including personal choices, work, life style ,romance ,night life and education.Make it a habit. No matter which chat room you are,our intention is to make our language easily communicable to others who speak English. For that we need to understand their style and so thats our first step. For fulfilling that step,we need to dig into their speaking style and find the secrets.

The next thing we need to do is to find and understand and get used to the pattern of questionnaire of IELTS.The following links will guide us to get enough idea about the patterns, answering styles and methods to tackle the examination.

http://www.ielts-exam.net/

Ofocurse we can search youtube for writing tips for the IELTS exam and try to write emails to the freinds you made through chat room or forums.

I also got a free book for IELTS when i registered for the exam. That book was an eye-opener to the real exam environment. We should utilize that fully and find the way to success.

There are many resources online and forums to help all to get a good score for IELTS exam.So just find time and patience until we hit the bull's eye.

Good Luck to all

 @  alvs

Such useful tips, I must say. Thanks a lot , dude , for sharing your secret.

I would agree with you regarding all the tips that you did share. No wonder there is no better source available than listening to english music, watching movies , talk shows etc. I mean one can be really good at english if he/she is a regular viewer/listener. It is like having fun with lot of learning at the same time.

I would particularly appriciate the tip of listening music with lyrics. This is best way to catch their accent , I belive. I have few freinds who speak in english as their first language and trust me, it is giving me a lot of confidence while I talk to them either written or voice chat. I , however , would like to mention here that in starting it was not easy for me to catch their accent but with the passage of time, I think I am getting better and better.

Thanks a lot for sharing above mentioned links. I certainly will visit these sites after writing this reply.

I have gotten IELTS study material from different websites and my freinds. I hope and belive I will pass it with flying colors.
