IELTS for PNP application, is it a must?

Received a notice from NB-PNP they require me to take IELTS exam.

definitely it all depends on visa officer...no one can interfere...it is their authority whatever documents they demand...today my sister got ielts result her results are:
listening  4.5 bad
reading   4 band
spaeking   5.5 band
writing   5.5 band
overall 5  band
now we are thinking that will we should go for sinp or for federal through arranged employment...but my sister wants to go through federal class with job offer
can u tell me plz that gher ielts enough for noc code 1221

it depends over your job profile..........if job is like office admin where public interaction is very less.......so 5 band is enough if job is like marketing manager or sales, or communication then 6.5 band is enough but all this requirements depends over the visa officer.......

For SINP.....legally IELTs is not necessary but your father have to proof that his english is good......he can survive.......so you can apply without IELTS..........above all them if your father english is good then IELTS is nt a big problem i hope if your father appears in IELTS he can get  6 band easily so he should do IELTs.........to avoid the visa officer questions........

No, ielts result submit to Provincial Immigration Office with provincial forms, But this new rule starting from June/July 2012.
