IELTS expired after AOR reciept

hi everyone,
i recieved my AOR on 20th Oct.
but now my IELTS result is 1 year older. though it was valid when i applied to CIO in may. it expired in Oct.
i also registered for IELTS again but available date is 27th Nov which is too late.
though i already rec few replies that i can use my old report but still want to confirm from someone who actually gone through this.
any suggestion if i should not take risk and go for test again?

IELTS Test Score has to be not older then 1 year at the time of submission to CIO, Sydney. Thereafter whenever you submit your complete documents to VO, it does not matter as the lock-in date is the CIO receipt date & not when you submit complete docs. to VO.
