IELTS Exam validity

Hello all,
I have taken IELTS exam in DEC 2006 and scored 7.0, is it still valid ? I am preparing my application for applying in Skilled-immigration class. Please reply

Ielts is valid only for two years after that you have to retake.

Although IELTS validity is two years but for Canada immigration it must not be older than one year.
