Hi..
I have applied for Canada PR in Nov 2007 and received letter with my file number in Feb 2008. I have taken an IELTS exam in Dec 2006. Can anyone tell me whether this result is still vaid or not?

Hi,
Your IELTS is valid only for 2 years time, you might have reappear before its too late.

AOR & File Number: 5 May 2009
Docs transferred to London Office: 21st May 2009
Current Status: Received by Visa Office
NOC.........still tryin to figure out..

for Canada Immigration IELTS is valid for 1 year only, so u have to reappear for it.

hi i also want to ask the same question i gave the ielts test on 25june2008 will my result be valid for applying for immigration if not then do i need to submit the ielts result along with the immigration application or can i apply afterwards???can anyone kindly guide me having first hand experience |

IELTS result is valid for 1 year for canada immigration in which you have to apply within a year.As you have mentioned that you had applied on november,2007 and your ielts result was valid till dec2007.You have applied within a year.If your application started processing in nov2007, then there is no need to give ielts.I guess IELTS is valid for your application. coolguy001 |

seniors,can u plz advice
My cut off date for submitting the docs to CHC ND is 20 nov.till date i am trying to get the desired score in ielts.if i want to re-apply for pr visa when that can be done.cos i had read it somewhere that will have to wait for 1 yr.before reapplying

as it mentioned in the guide that the validity of the IELTS for immigration is only one year, however you must make the exam again |

as its mentioned in other forums that you can send all of your documents along with copy of IELTS exam appointment date for the next exam mentioned that you need this period of time to prpaire your exam |

thanks everybody can any one also clearify that can i put up my application and then appear for ielts exam is it possible that i send my ielts score afterwards???? i hear that there is some people submit thier application before finalize IELTS exam, but refrence to SCHEDULE3 item No.6 they instuct us to provide either copy of IELTS test or english profficiency evidence. for me i finalize my test pefore submittion because its required after two months of submittion date |
