I applied on October 2006 for Immigration to Canada under Federal Skilled Worker and I'm still waiting .since then, they did not ask for any document from me . but I heard that they start processing the application that has been sent in 2006 .

At 2006 I had taken my IELTS exam although there was no need for sending IELTS exam certificate . but  IELTS is valid just for 2 years ! should I take another IELTS exam when they will ask me to send my document ?? or my old IELTS exam would be acceptable ?

at the time of submitting the  request my 2 children were under 22 . but now they are around 26 and almost finished university. will they consider as dependent children and get the visa ??

you definitely need to take another IELTS exam..............as for your children, they might not be able to immigrate with you as your dependent.

aidaa,

Dont worry - you should be okay !
Wait to hear from CIC if you should sit the exam again as doing so is meaningless if they are processing pre june 2010 applications with no priority -If it, unfortunately extends another 2 years then you sure will waste time and money.

Your childrens age are locked at the time CIC recieves the application so they will still be considered as your dependents if your PR application is successful.

Good luck!
