hello,
I have been a silent member of this forum. I am totally shocked to read Winedine's post.
look at your language!!!...god, are you really educated?
Winedine, money can never bring respect. you are just a cook and will remain a cook forever, so go back to the kitchen, cook some delicious dish for respected people like us instead of saying crap about others. Never forget, you may buy prostitutes not decent women by your money.
I am from india and i know how people treat chefs here, it's never a respected job here in India. anyone one can earn money but not everyone can earn respect. I believe you are a disgrace for our beloved country, India. India teaches us how to respcet other nationals, not to dishonour them.
N.B: Regarding you IELTS and points for education:
I agree with others; u will get only 20 points since you neither completed masters nor 3 years diploma. Since your Reading skill is poor (only 5
) you dont undertand the meaning of those statements related to educational points writen in CIC's EG7 booklet.
Regards,
Ajoy Use of penetrating language and education have no relation to each other, Ajoy. Both of them are 2 different things. Many educated professionals sometimes become victims of foolish use of language. I have seen some very skilled tradespeople who use elegant language. The IELTS is a measure for someone to enter Canada, but in no way a guarantee for someone to be successful as an immigrant in Canada. That said, one has to be respectful to people of all scores and all professions.
Ajoy, if you treat a chef as someone lower than you, then your most likely to treat all other service professionals with disrespect. And you would probably crush a farmer or a road worker who comes in your way. BTW, I have been to Canada already, I have seen your very respectful professionals like engineers driving cabs, and surprisingly crane operators and chefs got jobs in their fields as soon as they landed.
Yes, I will be a Chef forever, I will unconditionally agree to you.

I smile when I work, it brings me happiness. I work for passion and not a paycheck. Do not mix a paycheck and a passion. Two very different things again, like oil and water. And if your in an occupation that you despise, regardless of the amount respect or the paycheck it gives you, then I am sorry for you. Its time for you to tie a noose with a heavy stone around your neck, and jump in the deepest well you see.

Just kidding, I mean, seriously give it up. You must love what you do, whatever - Be it farming, be it plumbing or be it engineering!
About prostitutes and good women; all women are good, its the men who portray them as bad and I have utmost respect for Bangla dancers. They come from so far to feed their poverty stricken families. Ajoy, no studies suggest that a man visiting prostitutes cannot marry other women. My present girl friend is a Pharmacist. Again, your theory is flawed!
Now coming to the root this thread - my points. That chapter is closed for me but I am sorry its tickling you uncontrollably. I am sending the packet "as is" after a week, don't worry I will update all concern with my success or failure in this very thread. So, stick around, I will send you a personal message my Indian brother.
I am sure you don't have a Chef as a friend by they way you speak, the day you do - You will change your narrow and erroneous perspective. Or you have just don't tasted the right food to know the Chef. Have you been for a meal at a 5 star restaurant? There are CEO's who ask for my friendship after they know I have cooked their meals, but sadly enough your not a CEO or some who can afford a 5 star. If you could afford, you wont immigrate to Canada!
No reply needed, as you have nothing to contribute. You have spoken about your views on my score and about your disrespect for chefs. Case closed.
Next please!
