IELTS ACCEPTABILITY

If I got overall 5.5 band in IELTS. Will it be acceptable?
I have 71 points w/o IELTS test.

Dear Inderjit,

It depends upon your NOC and job description.

What is the score you got in each i.e. reading, writing, speaking & listening.

although you have 71 points but 5.5 is not considered good score. i think you should improve your band.
