Hi all I need to confirm is the IELTS Academic is acceptable for the Immigration to Canada.

I have scored the above and at 6.5 in all reading, writing, listening and speaking in Academic module. Can I use this IELTS result for immigration purpose or need to give again in General. I had given just two months back.

Of course yes...so far you applied before June 26, 2010. Academic IETLS is allowed. Stay blessed.

IELTS Academic is not valid for canadian immigration

No,you must take the General training if you apply after June 26.

nope, if u apply after june 26,2010 then u have to submit General training IELTS result.

Academic test score is not acceptable for post 26 June applicants. What yoyojaab says is perfectly right.
