@ Bhatia
I'm a NOC 7216 applicant myself who still preparing all my requirements. I'm an Electronic Engineer and have a work experience in offset printing production management. Before considering to apply under this NOC, I checked first the main duties and responsibilities of 7216 job description and it somewhat similar to the job I have. Please see link:
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/Profile.aspx?val=7&val1=7216My instinct says I should go ahead in applying and optimistic about it. There is always the possibility to be rejected because the assessor's interpretation will still be subjective. He may feel that I'm not qualified based on my experience but what the hell! I will apply anyway in my belief and interpretation.
If you feel your work experience is somewhat similar to the duties stated in the link above. Go for it! In my opinion, your enumerated experiences is quite good for 7216 NOC. It is not the job title that matters but the main duties and responsibilities.
Of course you should take the self-assessment first if you meet the required points (67 points).
