It's funny. I was also asked to pay the RPRF when I submitted my documents. Isn't it like having lunch before breakfast? Shouldn't CIC ask for the RPRF as a last item?

yes, it used to be. but in the fast track processing, to save the time they ask RPRF after initial assessment is done.

My RPRF was paid at the same time as the submission of my documents.
Does it mean my chance of an early approval is high?

tran,

what is funny about asking for fees before giving the nominations? what would you get by holding the money in your bank account for couple of months before paying it ? hardly any cents with the current interest rates. CIC will ask the RPRF fees when they have made the decission of PR and one should be happy about the decession being made and not crib about the money going towards it.

I sent my Medical done on may last week (AINP-H1B) and sent to CIC. Now I received a letter requestiong state police report and Right of Permanent Residence Fees. I am confused about this fee. Is this the fee they should ask at the last, if the case is approved or it is a different fee? They are asking 490 each person. Could any one please tell me what is this all about?

thank you very much for your help.

canadiann,

congrats... you are set man.
