I want to travel to Canada for a wedding...pls advice what to add

I am a Nigerian, i want to travel to Canada for my friend's wedding,he has sent me his permit and an invitation letter, I am working in a reputable firm and have a good account balance,do not want to make the mistake of missing anything out.

Is there anything else i need?

Hi Pespes,

First of all submit your employment certificate and leave approval. Passport and Visa Copies, Bank Balance Assets statements. Check the canadian embassy website http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/nigeria/visas/visiting-visiter.aspx?lang=eng
and read the FAQ's ..
Most important you need to convince you will return back home strong ties with your home country.
