Hello all,

I met my girlfriend online roughly four years ago and I'm very much in love with her, I've even been up to see her and everything went amazingly well. I'm a US citizen and I'm looking into being able to reside in Canada on a more permanent basis, but the problem is, I really don't know where to start.  Huh

I work at a big-box retail store that doesn't have any outlets in Canada, so I guess that rules out having a job opportunity already established.

Any ideas where I would start on this? Any type of help would be appreciated!

Para, read the first post in the Family Class Sponsorship thread titled at the top (sticky) "Spousal sponsorship" that's a great place to start.

For more information, you can also read the official immigration website at  www.cic.gc.ca
