  @  zaig - bear in mind you are immigrating to Canada and your application still in-process. My opinion is... your wife should go to MP for help, because she is the sponsor and she have a right to know what's going on to your application. IF YOU PROTEST.. YOU PUT YOUR SELF IN A BAD SITUATION, because VO not tolerate that behavior that can cause your application to turn down and decline due to Security Risk.

If you really missed your wife, you should ask your wife to move with you in London instead.

We are not COWARD... but you have to learn how to be PATIENCE... that's the key.... If you still insist,
go ahead and PROTEST and good luck to your application men! Period.
