It may be sometime before your efforts will yield results as employers in Canada are required to go through the lengthy process of applying for a LMO from HRSDC  which takes anything between 1-2 months & once you have a positive/neutral LMO you would need to apply for work permit from your home country.

you may end up waiting for anywhere between 3-4 months after being recruited before you land in Canada. Patience is one quality you must possess.

First decide what you want to be in life, either Civil Engineer or Architect then move forward from there. A civil engineer cannot be an architect the same way an IT specialist cannot be a Medical doctor.
