I received a letter from Canadian Government...

They say that I will be contacted within 4 months from the date of issued that letter for the medical examinations and interviews. Does someone knows how long does it take after that for the papers to clear?  I am in Guatemala...

Yes I am sponsoring my partner who is in Guatemala, we also receive the letter from the embassy in Guatemala On Aug 2010. they say that they already received the documentation and that they need 4 months to give an answer or an interview date.

Hey Michael my husband is in Guatemala waiting for the interview, We start everything on Jun 24 2010 and they send the same lette mentioning the same that we have to wait 4 months to receive instructions about the interview or if they need more documents, and on Sep 11 My husband received a letter giving him instrutions to send passport and Birth Certificate and also Curriculum Vite, He sent them,   but on Sept 2nd 2010 CIC Mississauga sent me a letter sking me to pay the ROPR fee in the next 30 days or as soon as is possible , so I did and last week they sent another letter to me, to comfirm the payment and informing that the payment information will sent it to Visa Office in Guatemala.
 My husband already took the passport and birth certificate to the embassy.
So I m wondering if all this happened to you guys with your application. We started the appl on Jun 24 2010.Medicals done and criminal check. on may 2010 and when I check the status of my application on the web site the result is Sponsorship -decision made, Permanent residence - In process and a note says Medicals results were received.
