I would recommend an Attorney, it will save lot of time for you though you have to spend a bit extra. But you've to be very careful while appointing one as there are so many spams.

It's a personal decision.  If you feel competent with your ability to fill out the paperwork and submit everything correctly, you should do it yourself.  Otherwise, a legal representative is an option.

To feel comfortable in making a suitable decision, I suggest you also consult the CIC website.  It is not as complicated as it seems.  Even if you decide to go with an attorney, it is better to familiarize yourself with CIC requirements.

Try to prepare and submit your application by yourself. It will also be a grate learning to know much more about the process and other relevant information useful in your future decision. The only thing is that you must throughly study the instructions available on the website before preparing the application forms. Website provides guidance for all the steps involved.

study this website www.cic.gc.ca/english/  few days and keep in touch with this forum i am sure with in one week you will get enough knowlage and its better then attorney, best way is do it by your self its not difficult and if some question appear in your mind you can ask at this forum and here are people with Good knowlage and hope they can solve your 99.9 problems ,
