Hi Friends,

I have applied for Canada immigration 10 months back as "Accountant". I have recieved letter from CIC Delhi asking me to update information with in 120 days time. While getting ready for this i underwent surgery and i could not write IELTS. I have only four days time to up date my information. However i am giving IELTS in week time. I am enclosing my medical record, doctors letter and all the evidence for my surgery. Please tell me whether CIC will consider my case positively if i submit IELTS after one week of due date or they reject my application. Please help me. I will be thankful to you. Except IELTS i have all other documents to submit them.

what is the surgery for?
Submit the docuements with explanation of why you could not take IELTS.
And then when ever you get the results, send the IELTS result (but wait for a AOR number before sending the IELTS, that way you have a reference number to send, otherwise your IELTS result will be lost)

The type of surgery will have a impact on the ultimate result of your case... (Canada is a single payer health care system, and they dont want any burden on the health care system from immigrants!!!)

Wait for others to answer...

It's a surgery for my right hand. I was admitted in hospital. Beofe operation also i have taken treatment for more than one moth. My only concern is if i submit my IELTS after one week of due date will they consider on health grounds. I am very much tensed, please advise me. I am not having any health problems which will become burden to Canada government.

explain your situation in a covering letter and attach medical records.
Also send a copy of your IELTS registration papers for the exam.

Don't worry yourself too much man. What will be will be.
Do exactly what ADA has advised you to do but also send in all other documents in the meantime.

Get well quick and good luck.
