Hi,

What if you were admitted to USA under tourist visa B1/B2 for 6 months, and you applied for change of status (F1 student) and it was granted for 1 years. Would it be lawfully admitted for "at least a year clause-regulation" if you want to apply at the Buffalo Office?

The term "admitted" refers to the moment you arrived at the airport and your passport is stamped (in this case 6 months) or the time you are legally allow to stay no matter how much time US immigration gave you when you arrived.

Thanks in advance!!!
