Author Topic: i have been given a deportion order i reside in edmonton is there hope?  (Read 438 times)

Hello--i came to canada to as a refugge claimant in 2007 and was going through the process however last year rwanda my home country was removed from the list of refugge claimants in canada so my refugge application was denied, i then applied for H& C case but it was denied, am not married or anything, no criminal charged but i was wondering if any one has an idea of how to proceed or steps to go about to gain a hearing in court and if anyone is in edmonton any good immigration lawyers you can direct me too--any advice is welcomed-thank you.

Ask for a working permit, so you can extend your stay. Or do you have any other thing to add?

There must be more to this story.  Why weren't you simply issued a departure order?  Are you sure you have the terminology correct?

Like Annabruce said...can you be more open to this your case?

There must be more to this story.  Why weren't you simply issued a departure order?  Are you sure you have the terminology correct?

Obviously not, I don't know why their telling you to do that. If you have a deportation order their not going to give you a work permit.
