how, as per HCH website you can claim 25 points if you have 17 years full time university degree
my M.A econ is upto 16 years and my MBA were 3 years duration but it was evening program which credit hours not equal to full time study. Pls clearify because many ppl's on this forum says i can claim only 21 points and CHC well versed about pakistan education system and they will consider it upto the 16 years education.

Definitely show both!
"Full-time equivalent studies: If you completed a program of study on a part-time or accelerated basis, count the length of time it would have taken to complete the program on a full-time basis."
How long would it have taken to complete the MBA full-time? Estimate based on total number of completed credits - I'm sure at least one year. So you will get the 25 points.

certainly you will show both the degrees. But most probably you will get 22 points for your education grid. i think, to get the maximum points in education grid, one has to have a four year Bachelor's Degree and a one year Masters Degree Or a three year bachelor's and a two year masters degree. Because from my experience i can say that the visa officer will not bring two different Bachelor's or Masters Degree into count at the same time.It can only be taken into count provided the the total education is completed in connection with the first Masters Degree. In that case, an M. Phil or a PhD degree will be taken into count.
it's just my realization. What do others say?

Sorry, did not read closely enough. Does that mean you got your MA-Econ without first getting a B.A. (4 years post-secondary?)

Dear Shahyan, I feel that you should present the degree according to which you have gained employment. I you have gained employment on the basis of MA Economics, then show that degree, and if it is on the basis of MBA, then project that degree. Cheers! Regards, Harryk.
