Assalm-o-alikum all group members,

I am a Pakistani man (now become Canadian citizen also), I have a unique experience and want to share with all of you:

May 2010 Application sent to Mississauga (Medical of my wife already included)
June 2010 file transferred to CHC Islamabad
July 2010 CHC Islamabad start processing.

July 2011  Request for re-sumbit 4 forms+Re-Medical [ that letter they send to me in Canada instead of my wife in Pakistan and due to the
strike of Canada post, I got that (re-medical letter) after the expiry date ]

Now I emailed and Fax to CHC Islamabad and request them to reissue the re-medical letter to my wife in Pakistan, I also submit the landing fees of my wife and fax the receipt to CHC Islamabad.

Now I am just waiting for their reply, me and my wife both worried about this situation and we don't know what will happen next, we believe on Allaha and hope for the best, I hope they will consider it because that was not our mistake.

If anyone have any comments or situation like us please let us know. Thanks

My Allah will bless you all of us and all couples be together soon InshaAllah (ameen)

I'm sure you will here from them soon. A lot of visa offices don't seem to respond to communication sent out , but you will probably have something come in the mail soon again. I'd wait a couple of more weeks for another request, they know it was out of your control! Smiley

Wallaikum Salam:

Dear brother, very sad to hear about this but God will help you as it was out of your control.
Usually i read posts on this forum, my immigration is in process as well. Timeline for Pakistan is almost 23 months now but Looking at your your time line, its going speedy. We applied in MARCH 2010, but CHC Islamabad is silent yet, so we are getting too much worried.
Just want to ask a couple of questions:
Is this your proper marriage, i mean rukhsati or it was Nikah ceremony?
After how long of your nikah/Marriage you applied for the immigration?
What addidional information you have provided to prove the genuineness of your relationship?
Whay they did not inform your wife in Pakistan, any address problem or due to any far flung area?

Thanks in aniticipation. Me and my husband are too worried about the slow process.

May Allah solve your problem as well as ours.

Salam:

Yes sister, I know now they said Timeline for Pakistan is almost 23 months but thats maximium time they are giving for those who are applying since Mar. 2010.
here are the answers of your questions:

Is this your proper marriage, i mean rukhsati or it was Nikah ceremony?

Yes our marriage is proper I mean rukhsati hoiee hay, she is with my family.

After how long of your nikah/Marriage you applied for the immigration?

we got married in Dec. 2009 and I applied in May 2010.

What additional information you have provided to prove the genuineness of your relationship?

All docs. + photographs + email's print out , phone bills, gift's recpts etc.

Whay they did not inform your wife in Pakistan, any address problem or due to any far flung area?

I think they mixed up my and my wife's address.

and Plz. do not worry too much because Jab Allaha nay jori bana di hay tu woh hi hamaray milnay ka asbaab bhi banaye ga InshaAllah (ameen)

Hello

I joined the Damascus thread here, most of them once the embassy had asked for new medicals, they received their passport request within 1 month or less. Inshallah soon for you, I will pray for you.
